(from fukkan.com):

Osamu Tezuka's "Fairy Tales for Children" are being reprinted for the first time in 60 years in a three-volume picture book series!

The children's stories made by Osamu Tezuka from the 1950s and 1970s are now available in a new picture book format. The reprinting of the book was made possible by the wish of Tezuka's eldest daughter, Rumiko Tezuka, to "let everyone know the heartwarming 'world of Tezuka,' which is different from manga and filled with love and warmth. This time, the works that were once published in magazines are included in a new layout designed for picture books. This series will satisfy both children who love animals and Tezuka fans.

Contains the following works:

  • Hurry, Mimi-chan! (あわてみみちゃん, Awate, Mimi-chan) 1952, Kodansha's First Grade Collection - Mimi-chan, a rabbit who is always in a panic, creates a big commotion involving her friends in the forest! • Suzumushi-hime (すずむしひめ, ENG. - Princess Cricket) 1956, 2nd Grader -Suzu-chan is very good at ringing bells and singing songs. But when Suzu-chan won the music concert at the castle Suzu-chan became a princess, and now she can't leave the castle. We have to Save Suzu-chan...! In addition to the title story, there is also "Mom's Feet" (1952, Kodansha - Shojo Club) an excellent story about a mother's love, and and "Birdcall Girl" (1954, Kodansha - Shojo Club) a beautiful story of friendship between a little bird and a little girl. Suzumushi-hime and Birdcall Girl are also included in the Tezuka Uncollected Manga Works
