Works that were not collected in the Tezuka 400 released in 1978 due to Tezuka losing the originals, but collected in the Tezuka bunko. The first volume has the work Hurricane Z as a bonus.

The first volume includes:

  • Galaxy Boy (Ginga Shounen) - Serialized from April 1953-February 1954 in Funny Book (Omoshiro Book)
  • Cyrano the Magnificent (Cyrano de Bergerac) - Serialized from April to November 1953 in Shonen Illustrated (Shounen Gaho)
  • President Bean (Mame Daitoryo) - Serialized from October 1953 to December 1954 in Adventure King (Bouken-O)
  • Hurricane Z

The second volume includes:

  • Treasure Island (Takarajima) - Published as kashihon on March 1st, 1947 by Fuji Shuppansha
  • Prof. Bat and Jim (Bat-hakase to Jim) published as kashihon on July 15th, 1947 by Arifundo
  • The Mysterious Dr. Koronko (Kaijin Koronko-hakase) - Published as kashihon on October 5th, 1947 by Doumei Shuppansha
