Mori, a cheerful playboy in his sixth year of college, has just fallen in love with a high school girl named Hoshi. From that starting point, Mizu no Iro Gin no Tsuki portrays the relationships among Mori's friends and acquaintances.

Note: The 4-chapter Water & Silver was originally collected in 2000 in a volume called Water & Silver 1. In 2006, this series, Water Color, Silver Moon, recollected it in its Volume 1. Volume 2 collects 5 more stories, published from 2005 to 2006.
